    Hand-harvested from 20yr old vines planted in the Monteforte d'Alba at 350m elevation in clay, calcareous marl, and sandy soils


    Fermentation with indigenous yeast over 40 days in stainless steel


    Aged in Slavonian oak casks (25-35 hectoliter) for 30 months before refinement in the bottle

  • Tasting Notes

    Deep ruby in colour with lively, bright highlights and an intense bouquet. Lots of dark fruit followed by spice, leather and earthiness. Liquorice runs through the core and there's touches of smoke to go alongside a smooth, evolved texture.
