Hand harvested from 15-40yr old vines planted in gneiss and limestone soils at up to 210m altitude in Zagersdorf and Sankt Margarethen
Grapes in open top vats (steel and old oak) for 2-3 weeks then pressed.
Aged for 14 months in old oak foudres
No added sulphites
A wonderfully drinkable expression of Blaufrankisch. Pure, direct red and dark berry fruit with a kick of pepper and rounded with lightly perfumed floral notes.
