Hand harvested from bush vines up to 138yrs old planted in soils made up of sand, volcanic bedrock, alluvial limestone and clay
Grapes are de-stemmed and soaked for 7 days prior to fermentation
Fermented and aged in 350l old Hungarian oak barrels for 12 months.
Unfiltered + unfined
Very low sulphur at bottling
Rich and spiced, with medium tannins and a silky texture. Bursting with dark berries and a touch of smokiness on the finish.
