Hand harvested from 60-105yr old vines planted at 780m in calcareous clay with chalky stones on the surface
Tempranillo is destemmed and added to the must of the white Malvar grapes to co-ferment for 20-25 days in cement
Aged for 5 months in cement and 300l old French oak barrels
A blend of red and white grapes traditional of the region. Ripe black fruit and spice a plenty with a hint of earthiness coing through. Real character and freshness from an experienced winemaker.
