Hand harvested from 15yr old vines planted at 250m in volcanic andesite with a mix of chalk and clay

 

Hárslevelü bunches are cold-soaked for 48 hours and pressed in a basket press

 

Furmint and Juhfark grapes are directly pressed

 

The juice is transferred into Zemplén oak barrels

 

Aged on the lees for 6 – 8 months

Broad and aromatic with floral tones and ripe fruit. A pleasant finish with subtle spice making a great food wine.
